Ingredients
  

Linguine pasta​

  • Boneless skinless chicken breasts​

Butter​

  • Minced garlic​

Paprika​

  • Garlic salt​

Red pepper flakes​

  • Lemon juice​

Olive oil​

  • Heavy cream​

  • Reserved pasta water

Instructions
 

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook until al dente, according to package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of the pasta water, then drain the pasta and set it aside.​

Step 2: Prepare the Chicken

  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil. Season the chicken pieces with paprika, garlic salt, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken to the skillet in a single layer and cook for 3-4 minutes on one side until golden brown. Flip the chicken pieces and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.​

Step 3: Make the Cowboy Butter Sauce

  • In the same skillet over low heat, add 2 tablespoons of cowboy butter. Once melted, stir in the heavy cream, red pepper flakes, and lemon juice. Use a spatula to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet, incorporating them into the sauce. Simmer the sauce for 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly.

Step 4: Combine the Ingredients

  • Add the cooked linguine and chicken back into the skillet with the sauce. Toss everything together to coat the pasta and chicken evenly. If the sauce is too thick, gradually add the reserved pasta water until the desired consistency is reached.​

Step 5: Serve

  • Divide the Cowboy Butter Chicken Linguine among serving plates. Garnish with chopped parsley and additional red pepper flakes, if desired. Serve immediately.​
